Pure Anus

"Pure Anus" is a compilation of unreleased (at least at the time) sublime studio takes. It has tons of great songs on it.

The CD itself was a made from a cassette (or cassettes) and so the "OG" or original version of "Pure Anus" is in cassette format. For years, it was floating around the sublime circles on a cassette (I have one of the originals) before somebody decided to start burning it onto CDr & distributing it.

It was more like, "I have this and you can come listen to it." because no one wanted to press it and fuck over sublime & the inside word was "this is unreleased,.. keep it to yourself".

Once somebody burned it and started popping it onto eBay, it was all over the place & the rest is history.

The advantage of having an "OG" cassette is the 1st generation audio. It is much clearer and not compressed, so you get to hear the real deal.

Great CD though, I would suggest that you get a copy of it PRONTO!
